There is a way to make the icons on Windows Vista Desktop exactly the right size that you want.
- Right click the taskbar and select “Show the Desktop”.
- Click once on a blank bit of desktop to bring the focus to the desktop and nothing else.
- Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and scroll up on your mousewheel to make the icons bigger, or scroll down on your mousewheel to make the icons smaller.
- Once you’ve got the right setting - let go of the Ctrl key and rearrange your icons how you like them.

You can restart windows without waiting 30 seconds for your BIOS to finish loading...
Windows Vista: Select Start, then hover over the arrow to the right of the padlock icon until the pop-up menu appears. Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking "Restart". Windows XP: Select Start, then "Shut Down…". Change the drop-down box "Restart". Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking OK
You could probably do the same in Windows 3.11 by dropping to a DOS shell and typing "win"......
Almost all the System Tools are available on the largest network in the world, INTERNET. But the way people use and the purpose they make out of it now days is really threatening. I recently joined my friend, a hardware engineer, for a computer service. Issue was on the BIOS. We noticed on the bootup it showed the processor as P III. On looking at the board we were really taken by the surprise as the IDE is loaded with Celeron. The guy who sold the PC in Ritchie street has edited the BIOS info and redefined the processor information’s… literally I had goose pimples about the tricky and thinking of tat geeky..
Not sure about the legitimacy of this news, but the major leaders in mobile industry i.e., Nokia, Sony Ericsson are coming together to build unique memory cards that will be used in their respective devices…
