Avoid Sending E-Mails With Subject Column Empty

At times, we miss to mention the subject and send email. Still we may feel it as trivial mistake. But the person to whom you are sending, if not your friend or personal, is a bureaucrat/ your superior the kind of impression he get on seeing the empty subject mail can cause a sudden rise in his/her blood pressure :-). Its just un deplorable. Sometimes, if the mail is addressed to a client and their Firewall if configured to consider the incoming mail with Nil subject as Junk, then it would be a complete Mess. It has happened a time for me when sending internally. Subject always conveys the One Liner of the Whole Subject. So to make sure you don’t fuss it up or if you dyslectic (jus kiddin ;-)) follow the few lines below.

1)      Open Outlook 2003/2007

2)      Go to Tools -> Macro -> Security -> Security Level Tab. Set Low and give Ok

3)      Press ALT + F11 which opens you Microsoft VBA Editor

4)      On the left side pane, you can find Microsoft Office Outlook Folder. Beneath the folder, Right Click the ‘ThisOutlookSession’ object and choose view code.

5)      On the right side pane, copy and past the code in the attachment.

6)      CNTRL + S (Save)

7)      Close the Editor

8)      Close the OutLook

9)      Reopen and try

To Check for EMail Attachment Before sending mail just Un-Comment those few lines, Save, Close and reopen.
