One of my close friend is working with HP and they have started a new service called Digital Photo Printing. the web site url is http://www.snapfish.co.in/. I have tried their website offerings and its very easy to create an account and upload photos. they have got a cool activex control which is similar to skydrive.com to upload photos. they only charged me Rs 49 for the courier cost and i got it delevered within 3 working days including an album as well. its cheap, hassle free and definitely worth trying once.

I started using the Apple Mac way back in 1995. When i joined Wipro Apple division, I was given a very small Mac Machine Color Classic. I still remember the cute machine in color during those days. All the other teams were using the 14 VGA monitor and very few had a color monitor at that time. Mac is my first GUI OS after my college and for me personally i still feel that its the most easiest operating system that one can use. I have downloaded and saw the Leopard OS demo video and it was too good. Typically Mac users are very loyal due to their liking which is also similar to users who has Harley Davidson bikes or even Enfield bikes for that matter ( BTW, I have one and using it for the last 8 years now).

I could not control myself post the demo and started looking for a new Mac machine at home. Will keep you posted.

We are managing one of the wap sites using MCMS 2002 and I noticed that response.redirect method takes a little longer at times and had asked my dev lead to implement server.transfer method. he checked the faq from CMS 2002 and it says that server.transfer is not supported in MCMS. Even though there are advantages and disadvantages between server.transfer and response.redirect, i felt it for our solution, server.transfer is the best option. I am now looking options to remove the response.redirect.. :(

 Topic: Server.Transfer vs. Response.Redirect

Is it possible to use Server.Transfer with MCMS 2002?

Answer

No this is not possible. MCMS requires that all requests pass the ISAPI filter to create the correct CmsHttpContext for the requested item. Server.Transfer bypasses the ISAPI filter. You need to use Response.Redirect instead.

I studied the thirukural ( i still remember of practising and writing it atleast 15 times each one of them) almost 2 decades back and just recalled how true was he when he composed the thirukural.

Couple of instances which made me to write this blog.

My 2 year old son started saying few words and sentences and the feeling that I go thru when he speaks cant be explained in words for sure

குழல் இனிது யாழ்இனிது என்பதம் மக்கள்
மழலைச்சொல் கேளா தவர்.
The flute and lute are sweet they say
Deaf to baby's babble's lay!

My daughter is now in UKG and I have got her progress report card couple of days back. I am proud that she is doing consistent for the last 2 years and we ( me and wife) should admit that we are extremely happy about her performance which made me to quote this one.

ஈன்ற பொழுதின் பெரிதுவக்கும் தன்மகனைச்
சான்றோன் எனக்கேட்ட தாய்.
The mother, hearing her son's merit
Delights more than when she begot.

Amazing that he has managed to convey the message in few words, across all subjects. This also helps me now to do my ppts to be sweet, crisp, short and conveys the mesaage.
