Vishwak Solutions participated in the Kalaignar-85 Rural Job Fair, an initiative by Ms.Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (Member of Parliament, India) with Vazhikaati and Goodwill Communications Ltd as the steering partners.  This two day job fair was an unique initiative aimed at promoting job opportunities to people living in the developing districts of Tamilnadu. The job fair attracted over 32,000 registrants from the near-by districts.

Vishwak along with other companies from the industry participated on the first day of the fair (20th November 2008), which was earmarked for IT, ITES & BPO industries. The volunteers did a fine job of guiding the candidates to respective booths that mapped to their skill sets. We received considerable number of quality candidates with majority of them being fresh engineering graduates.  After a first level short listing, we have called for the shortlisted candidates for the next round of technical evaluation in Chennai later this week. Overall, the event was planned and executed well by the organizer.
