Vishwak developed this state of the art travel portal for Mahindra Homestays. Vishwak used its Rapid Web development model to deliver the portal in record time. The portal was built on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 platform and Vishwak integrated SharePoint with external systems – TALISMA and with a 3rd party Payment Gateway.
The Homestay portal is a showpiece travel site with extremely user friendly and a pleasing design. The holiday planning tool is designed to provide an interactive information display and helps the users to choose a location to spend their holidays. Google Map (Web 2.0) integration is included to provide the user to interact directly and select the location and the variety of 'activities' available at the location.
